This family rocked.  You can just tell by the mom’s rad yellow shoes that we had a great time.  We were in a bit of a rush with our hour long time crunch at the boneyard (neon museum), but we did it, and the kids were fantastic.  Thanks D family for the fun!

Lil’ Baby Red was a perfect angel at 3 months old,  she is destined to be a heart breaker for sure.

How cute are these twin baby girls? seriously. And their brother is destined for stardom, I could talk to him for ages about all sorts of interesting things.

I have been working like a mad woman trying to finish up family sessions for Christmas .  I have been lucky enough to photograph some pretty awesome families.  I have many more to catch up on, but here are a few of one of my favorite families. They are model beautiful as you can see.

- Now I’m off to work on my cards… I think they are pretty cute, but you’ll have to wait….

The orchard in Vegas is kind of a hidden gem, not something expected in the bright lights of sin city.  What a beautiful change it was to be with a great family in the morning light in an orchard.  I wish I could say and orchard lined with apples, but we had no such luck. I did find one though!! Hey you can’t be too picky,  I was just grateful for the green.  The mother has impeccable taste, and I loved how perfectly they coordinated, with out matching… lovely.  Thank you for the morning, it was so refreshing!

The momma of this plaid family makes all of the adorable hats that I use for my newborn sessions.  She is a fabulous and talented knitter and I am always amazed at the things she comes up with. Check her out here. Her little girls are so beautiful and spunky and I had a great time chasing them around.  oh yeah, the dad is cool too.

One of my favorite families looked so fabulous in there fancy clothes! Last year we did casual in the desert and this year they wanted to just stay close to home, so we went in their backyard.  Easy enough!   They are all so beautiful and really just the greatest family.  The youngest girl never really wants me to take her pictures, but I have got some pretty crazy antics to make her look at me for a second… (she believed the whole “elephant on my head” thing a couple of times:)  Thanks Carla and family! Love you guys!

O.K., first of all I shouldn’t even say this, but I make many mistakes, so I might as well get real.

I wrote down these adorable kids photo shoot on the wrong day!!! So imagine yourself being the mother, getting your kids ready and bringing them somewhere with no cell service, and NO PHOTOGRAPHER!!!!  Really, I wanted to shoot myself for making such a silly mistake! Their sweet mom was nice enough to let me take their photos the next day after I apologized as well as I knew how.  (I obviously didn’t charge any sitting fee for all the trouble)  Sorry again sweet kids and Mom!! It still makes me sick to think you were there waiting!

Well these two are quite the bundles of joy and I had fun chasing them around Calico! Thank you Cru, Maddy, and Megan!!

We met this fabulous family a while back when we became neighbors, we have since moved, but they are still dear friends. The weather was beautiful and we got in a quick session before we lost the sun. Thanks Marshall Family!
